NAT Gateway - Connect Private Instance to Internet...

IN this Lab, we will Create a NAT Gateway and Configure that Routing So that a Private Instance Can Access the Internet Securely Without Being Directly Exposed to Inbound Internet Traffic....

NAT Gateway is used to Provide one-way internet Connectivity to resources in a Private Subnet. It allows a Private Instance to access the Internet For Outbound Connections, Such as Downloading Updates, Installing Packages, Or Accessing External Services...

The Private Instance Does not Need a PUBLIC IP and Internet Users Cannot directly initiate a Connection to the Private Instance Through the NAT Gateway...

Now, Firstly We will Create the NAT Gateway...and We will Setup into the Route Table...

Burger menu > Networking > Virtual cloud networks > spoke_vcn (VCN) > Gateways > NAT Gateways

Now Adding Gateway into Route Table..

Added Successfully...

TESTING...

Before, Testing We Will check the Security list...Mainly the Egress Rule It Should be Allowed ALL PROTOCOLS (0.0.0.0/0)...

sudo dnf check-update
