Creating & Configuring Network Manually...

Earlier I worked with an automatically configured Network. In this lab, I created and configured the comnplete network manually, which helped me Understand the role and dependancy of each networking component...

Through this lab, I had learned steps to create the network connectivity and security How the process work together...

In Real world (Industries) Always create the VCN MANUALLY level only for the Security Reasons...

Steps to run the Network smoothly is...

Security List >>> Gateway >>> Route table.

Firstly we are Deleting old VCN in which I was working Earlier...

In Back I had deleted the instance & all other resources so it is easily Deleting...

Successfully Deleted NO VCN is their in the Network Compartment..

Now, lets Create the VCN manually...

VCN Created Successfully...

Now, Creating the Subnets Step-by-step BOTH (PUBLIC // PRIVATE)

Firstly Creating PUBLIC SUBNET...

Default Route Table will be Later on...

We are creating Public subnet so we are selecting Public subnet...

Security List we will Provide Manually we will create it...

Secondly Creating PRIVATE SUBNET...

Default Route Table will be Later on

Here We are creating Private subnet so we are selecting Private subnet..

Security List we will Provide Manually we will create it..

Both Subnets are Created Successfully...

Now Creating the Custom Security List Step-by-Step for Both the Subnets...

For Public Subnet...

In Hub Network Compartment Only..

Now, Adding Security Lists Step-by-Step to the subnets..

Firstly Into the Public Subnet..

Second Step...(GATEWAY)

    A Gateway is used to connect a network to another network or to an external network. In OCI different types of gateways are used
     for different purposes. A gateway works like a DOOR or ENTRY/EXIT point for network traffic. It decides where the traffic should go based on the         
      routing tables...

INTERNET GATEWAY ::- It's Connecting for sending and receiving the Traffic. No. of servers can connect the internet with the help of the internet gateway with the help of Route Table.. It's always created on the Subnet level...

we always allow the Internet access connection to the PUBLIC SUBNET LEVEL Only...

Now , Creating the Internet Gateway...

Third Step...(ROUTING)

    Route Table is always Created on the Subnet level only..[Always on the PRIVATE SUBNET LEVEL ONLY..]
Routing means deciding where Network traffic should go from one Place to Another..
Each route table contains rules has mainly two important things...

Destination CIDR ::- where the traffic needs to go. [ 0.0.0.0/0 ] **Target **::- Through which gateway or network resource the traffic should be spent. [ INTERNET GATEWAY ]

Associating the ROUTE table with the Public Subnet...
