Steps for creating a custom security list...

Burger menu >>> Networking >>> Virtual cloud networks >>> hub_network_compartment (hub-vcn) >>> Security >>> Create Security List.

Fill up the Name and always choose Network hub compartment..

Attaching security list to public subnet >>> Go to subnet >>> Select public subnet

Inside public subnet >> Go to security >> Click on Add security list >> Choose security list compartment and security list >> Click add

Now we are removing default security list in the public subnet... Because it will be Disturbed between two security list...

After removing the default security list..we lost the SSH Connection...because our custom SL is empty by Both the rules...

To establish again the SSH Connection we are adding the rule in security list >> Security list >> Click on add ingress rule

Now , Firstly we are Adding the Ingress Rule... fill up all Details

Our SSH connection establish successfully

Now, we are Troubleshooting the ping server..

using google.com because we have only one Instance..

ping google.com

But ping is Not working...

Now, to Establish the ping command we have to add the Egress rule in ICMP protocol with all destination in CIDR type...

Hence, Ping is Established again and sending the Packets ...
