Set up

2FA: you cannot log in to various apps without this.

Email lists: giraffe, reader revenue dev, contributions devs, ask your team to ensure you're signed up.

GChat rooms: Digital/Reader Revenue Developers, acquisitions-giraffe, and any others that you think are relevant.

Janus: request access to the membership account by opening a PR like this one.

Request additional equipment: We understand that everyone has different ways of working. So if you need an additional monitor, mouse, keyboard or whatever please email your request to [email protected] and copy in your line manager.

Logging in: If you find you can't access some pages that require authentication, do the following

  • Open a new browser window and go to m.code.dev-theguardian.com
  • Log in to your account
  • Open dev tools and go to the Application tab, click on 'Cookies' and select the url that includes 'code'
  • Find the property SC_GU_U and copy the value in the next column
  • Return to your support page, open dev tools, go to the Application tab, select 'Cookies' and make sure to select the url with 'support' in it
  • Scroll to the bottom of the list and create a new property called SC_GU_U and paste in the value that you copied from code.
