Analyze imaging data with spatial-temporal patterns.

Basic idea:
- wave is a collective behaviour of interactive dynamical units.
- analyzing wave properties could start with analyzing each individual unit's dynamics and their spatial-temporal correlation:
- when wave path through, the unit shows a bump.
- the nearby units show a similar shape of bumps with different time shifts (dt).
- calculate dt in all directions. Maximum one defines the propagation direction.
- peak-to-peak dt along the propagation direction define the wave speed.
- multiply the duration of unit's bump with wave speed, get the width of the wave.
- wave's source (or sink) should have dt in all direction with the same sign.
- this analysis method should be scale-free, both on the spatial and temporal domain.
