How to get Guadalinex?
Download Guadalinex v9
Guadalinex can be downloaded freely. In the download site you will find all the required files to install it.
The .iso file is the most important, it includes the operating system and applications. You can burn a DVD or create a USB flash drive and install it into as many computers as you want.
The MD5SUM file allows to check the file integrity.
Checking MD5sum
Before burning the downloaded .iso file, it is recommended to check that its sum verification (or hash MD5) fits with that offered in the download page. This is needed to verify that the file was downloaded correctly.
In Windows, you can use MD5summer (download link). This software doesn't need installation, just download it and run it. In the menu, search the directory that contains the .iso file, choose «Create sums», «Add» the file and click «OK». The hash will appear after some seconds, check that it is correct.
In GNU/Linux, open a terminal, move to the directory that contains the .iso file and run this command: md5sum filename.iso. Check that the hash is correct.
If the checksum is incorrect, you will need to download the .iso file again. Probably, there was an error while downloading.
