Please look at the Php Mailer - instructions

P.S. Most mail-servers use now a DMARC - Policy !

DMARC is like a security policy published by your-domain.com that tells all receiving mail servers:

"Only accept emails claiming to be from @your-domain.com if they are actually sent from my list of approved servers (this is checked via other records called SPF and DKIM). If an email arrives from an unauthorized server, reject it!"

The problem is therefore not a simple spam filter. It is a hard rejection based on a modern, mandatory email authentication policy (DMARC).

The solution remains the same and is now more critical than ever: You must use the **authenticated SMTP method ** on all your websites. The php-mail() function is no longer a viable option for reliable email delivery in a modern server environment.

  • Typesettercms stores an individual email-address für every user but only one common smtp-user-mail-address. Therefore a smtp - password-recovery goes in a multiuser-enveronment to this email. A multiuser-solution with individual smtp-configuration for every single user is in preparation.
