Introduction

Welcome to PSJoy - the tool which allows you to intercept the official PS4 Remote Play client on a Windows PC and stream the content to your Android device.

The PSJoy server is able to intercept the official PS4 Remote Play. You can send gamepad commands and forward the remote stream to your smartphone. In order to use PSJoy and to be able to stream the content from your PS4 to your smartphone or to send emulated Dualshock inputs to your PS4, you need to setup and install the official PS4 Remote Play program from Sony on your Windows PC. You can download the offical PS4 Remote Play from the Sony PS4 Remote Play website.

Below you can find the Requirements to run the PSJoy server:

Requirements

• Windows 8.1 or newer
• Official PS4 Remote Play installed on your PC
• Intel® Core™ i5-560M Processor 2.67 GHz or faster (Quad core highly recommended)
• 2 GB or more of RAM
• 1024 × 768 or higher display resolution

Antivirus, Firewall

PSJoy may be recognized as threat by your Antivirus program (Kaspersky, Norton etc.) but in order to intercept the official PS4 Remote Play it needs some special permissions. Please be sure that the network capabilities or intercepting attempts are not blocked by your Antivirus or firewall. Please note: you may have to make an exception for PSJoy in your Antivirus program or your firewall in order to use PSJoy.

If you didn't changed the port settings be sure that following ports are open:

TCP 39696, 39697

UDP 39697, 39698, 39705, 39710

Port forwarding

In order to use PSJoy over the internet you have to configure port forwarding on your router. Please note, you must have a very fast and stable internet connection to stream over the internet and it is strongly recommended to use a FEC value of at least 35 in the advanced settings of your PSJoy server. If you haven't changed the port settings following ports must be forwarded:

TCP 39696, 39697

UDP 39697, 39698, 39705, 39710
