How to enter Simulation mode in Packet Tracer

With Packet Tracer open and the configuration is set up, simply click on the 'Simulation' button in the bottom-right corner of the Packet Tracer window. A Simulation panel will appear on the right side of the window.

How to filter which Packets Simulation Mode captures

With the Simulation mode panel open click the 'Show All/None' button at the bottom right of this window and then click the 'Edit Filters' button to the left of the previous button. Check whatever packet type you wish, just know that the packet types are under IPv4, IPv6, and MISC tabs of the window that pops up.
