Bevan Woodward | Bevan was raised in Nelson and returned in 2020 to be closer to family. A qualified accountant by profession, he has also worked extensively in sales and management. His focus now is on the not-for-profit sector, and in 2021 he led the establishment of Bike Hub Nelson, serving as Chair for its first three years. He brings financial oversight, governance experience, and well-established connections across Nelson's community sector and beyond, with valuable experience in getting projects like this off the ground. |

Naina Mahto | Naina has lived in Nelson for nearly 25 years, working across the community sector as both a volunteer and paid team member. At The Brook Waimarama Sanctuary and the Nelson Environment Centre she has held financial administration roles — managing budgets and day-to-day financial operations for organisations with environmental purpose at their heart. She believes strongly that not every household needs to own everything, and that pooled resources benefit the whole community. She brings strong ties to Nelson's NFP environmental community. |

She originally trained in Industrial design, then switched to conservation as a DoC ranger, and now works in marine science at The Cawthron Institute. Sacha has been involved with the Nelson Toy Library – essentially a library of things for children – for the last five years, first as a member then serving on the committee as grants officer. She brings strong knowledge of physical lending systems, charitable membership organisations, and securing funding. |

Pierre Hammond | Pierre grew up in South Africa and, after a long stint in London, made his home in Nelson in 2017. A Registered Architect, he works at Arthouse Architects and regularly contributes to NCC projects, including as part of the consultant team on Te Ara ō Whakatū, the successful spatial plan for Nelson CBD. He volunteers with Bike Hub Nelson, drawing on first-hand experience of how a well-run volunteer organisation operates. He is an advocate for safe, accessible public spaces and believes strongly in community resilience. He brings systems-based thinking, construction knowledge, and practical experience managing budgets and governance to support the library's physical setup and ongoing operations. |
