Project Search Universe Selection - greenriver/hmis-warehouse GitHub Wiki
The Project Search Universe Selection is a two-step process. The first step is to search for the project(s). The second step is to choose projects or project groups and queue the report
1. Project Search
Narrow down the set of projects used to run the report by Data Sources, Organizations, Projects, Project Groups, and Project Types. Click Find Projects.
Example of “Project Data Quality” report where “Blue Mountain” is selected under “Data Sources”
2. Choose Projects/Project Groups and Queue the Report
Based on the Project Search, a list of Organizations and Projects will populate on the screen. Select the desired projects by clicking on the checkbox next to individual projects or by clicking the checkbox next to an organization. Selecting the checkbox next to the organization will select all projects at the organization.
Example of All projects Selected at an Organization
After projects are selected, navigate to the bottom of the screen under Actions. Select Generate if you would like the new version of the report to be generated immediately. Select Email if you would like the report emailed to contacts associated with the organizations or projects. If only the Email option is selected, a new report will not run; instead it will send the most recent report for each of the chosen projects. If the projects don’t have prior reports, nothing will be sent or run.
Organization contacts will receive an email for each project report generated within that organization. Project contacts will only receive reports for the project for which they are associated. No email will be sent unless the Email checkbox is checked.
Contacts will not have access to the client-level details of the report unless they are logged in with a user account with the correct permissions.
Add the desired Start and End date for the report and click Run Selected Reports.
