Population Dashboards - greenriver/hmis-warehouse GitHub Wiki
Description
There are five Population Dashboard reports that are divided by household composition and veteran status. These reports can be used to identify the number of clients enrolled, active, entering, and exiting during a specific time period. Additional details include clients that are newly homeless, re-entering homelessness, and exiting to permanent housing.
The Population Dashboard reports include:
- Adult and Child Households - Clients enrolled in homeless projects (ES, SH, SO, TH) where the household has at least one adult (18+) and one child (less than 18).
- Adult only Households - Clients enrolled in homeless projects (ES, SH, SO, TH) where the household has at least one adult (18+) and no children (less than 18).
- All Clients - Clients enrolled in homeless projects (ES, SH, SO, TH).
- Child Only Households - Clients enrolled in homeless projects (ES, SH, SO, TH) where the household has at least one child (less than 18) and no adults (18+).
- Non-Veteran - Clients enrolled in homeless projects (ES, SH, SO, TH) where the client is not a veteran.
- Veteran - Veteran clients enrolled in homeless projects (ES, SH, SO, TH).

Calculation Notes
- Households are defined as clients in the universe who are identified as the head of household for an HMIS-defined household. NOTE: Because a client may be the head of household for more than one HMIS-defined household in a reporting period, households may be undercounted.
