Creating a Group

  1. A user must have the permission “Can edit access groups” or “Can edit anything super user” on their role to create a Group. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Groups.
  2. Click on the + Add a Group button.
  3. Add a Name for the Group that describes the new group access.
  4. Select the Data Access Assignments and Reports & Cohorts by clicking the “+” next to the applicable section. This opens a dropdown with all available data, report, or cohorts.. You can make a selection by clicking on its name.
  • The names of the reports are written as “CATEGORY: TITLE.”
  • If you know the data, report, or cohort you would like to add, you can simply start typing its name in the box, this will filter the list.
  1. Once you are done, click Create Group to finish creating that group. Users can now be added to this group.

Adding Users to a Group

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Groups and click on the Group you would like to add a user to.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says Users to Add.
  3. Click on the dropdown or begin typing the user’s name you would like to give access to.
  4. Click on the user's name and a check mark will appear next to their name.
  5. After the users are selected click Add Users. The users will appear in the table below the Users to Add Box.

Editing an Existing Group

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Groups and click on the Group you would like to edit.
  2. Add data, reports, or cohorts by using the “+” sign in each section.
  3. Remove data, reports or cohorts by using the “x” sign in each section
  4. Click Update Group.

Deleting a Group

  1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Groups and click on the Group you would like to edit.
  2. Groups can only be deleted when there are no users assigned to the group.
