User Roles and Permissions

Thursday 3/7/24, we are releasing an update to the Roles tab on the Warehouse Admin page. This update will improve the ability to create, filter, and edit user permissions but will not impact the specific function of permissions. Below is a preview of how the user permissions will look and work.

A new menu on the left of the screen allows you to show or hide specific roles as needed. Each role is color coded with a corresponding column in the table. Example of “Ad-hoc Data Uploader” and “CoC Staff” marked as “Show” and visible by column; “Client Searcher” and "CoC Partner Agency Admin” are hidden.

Permissions are grouped by topic and collapsible. Example of expanded view of Cohort permissions.

Administrative Permissions can also be hidden or shown. These permissions are marked with a lock. Example of Administrative Permissions under Client Access.

When changes are being made, checkboxes are highlighted in orange and text within the permission to indicate “change pending”. There is also a “Save Changes” button at the top of the table along with the number of changes pending.
