Wind is a noise-based value that can interact with various mechanics & the world.
Calculation
Base wind strength is calculated based on noise.
- Edges of cliffs & cliff faces have high wind
- Mountains have high winds
- Tropical areas & forests have low winds
Biomes now store gust strength & gust chance values. These are multiplied with the base wind strength to result in the final wind strength value at each position. Weather also affects wind strength. Strong gust strength values will result in wind particles given off.
