Silcast is a natural block which absorbs status effects.

Natural Generation

Silcast makes up the majority of the Ghast Springs biome.

Absorption

Silcast will absorb certain status effects from entities, throwable potions, and tipped combat items. When it absorbs an effect, it changes its color. Breaking an absorbed Silcast block will release a small lingering cloud of that effect.
