Molten Magma Cubes are a Magma Cube variant which forms when Magma Cubes stay submerged in Lava for a long duration of time.

Spawning

Molten Magma Cubes spawn naturally in Molten Caves.

Smelting

Molten Magma Cubes will eat any close items. Most eaten items will be burned, but metal items will not. Instead, metal armor or raw metals will be slowly smelted into their respective smelted counterparts. Other metal items, such as ingots or nuggets, will be burned after much longer than regular items. If a Molten Magma Cube eats and smelts enough metals, it will grow to the next size.
