Using the Sum Function

Summary

In this topic you sum (add) the values of a cup of coffee and a sandwich using your Huawei Android phone.

Prerequisites

• You need an Huawei Android phone with stock applications pre-installed. See Using your Calculator App
• You need the Calculator App open. See How to start your Calculator App

Steps

1. Clear the calculator memory
2. Select the number one (1). This is the value of the cup of coffee - $1
3. Select the sum (+) sign
4. Select the number three (2). This is the value of the sandwich - $2
5. Select the equals (=) sign

Result

Your Calculator App now shows the answer of adding one plus two, which equals three. So the total cost of the cup of coffee and the sandwich is three dollars ($3).
