As an "Authorized Data User" of the data and tools within GROUSE environment, I will:
- Respect the privacy of research participants at all times.
- NOT use or disclose any information that directly identifies one or more participants.
- Use the GROUSE data ONLY for the purpose of biomedical or health research described in the cooresponding DROC request
- Provide a meaningful and accurate description of your research purpose every time you create a service workbench study or workspace.
- Take full responsibility for any external data, files, or software that you request to import into the GROUSE environment and the consequences thereof.
- NOT share your login information with anyone, including other authorized GROUSE researchers.
- NOT attempt to re-identify or contact patients and beneficiaries in GROUSE data.
- NOT take screenshots or attempt in any way to copy, download, or otherwise remove any participant-level data from the GROUSE database or sercice workbench workspace.
- NOT publish or otherwise distribute any individual-level data from the GROUSE database.
- NOT publish or otherwise distribute any data or aggregate statistics corresponding to fewer than 10 participants unless expressly permitted under the GROUSE DUA amendments.
- NOT attempt to link GROUSE data at the participant level with data from other sources.
- NOT use GROUSE data or any related resources for marketing purposes.
- NOT represent that GROUSE endorses or approves of any research unless such endorsement is expressly provided in writing by GPC and GROUSE Oversight Committee.
- NOT access service workbench workspace or whitelist any IP from "Public networks" such as those in airports and coffee shops, because these networks often have little or no security
