The overlay contains a copy of the sysvinit installation that has been manipulated to set the correct entries in /etc/inittab to allow serial console to work. It also contains an optional patch that makes the special halt procedure of the B3 an integral part of sysvinit. i.e you can now simply issue halt or poweroff.

USE flags

• feroceon: enable the integrated write-magic procedure (default: enabled)
