About Indigo
Commercial renderer very similar to Luxrender (created by same developer).
It has plugins for Blender, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Maya and Cinema4D
Trial version
We still offer a free version of the current version of Indigo - but it has these limitations:
- Maximum resolution of 0.7 Megapixels – e.g. 1000 pixels by 700 pixels.
- Indigo logo in the bottom right of the image
- May not be used for commercial work.
- No support (beyond that given in our forums)
Potential Golem integration
There is a console interface for rendering available. With free version we can integrate in the same way as lux. For task splitting we can use halttime and haltsspp mechanism - exactly the same as in Lux. They can be set from console, we don't have to edit scenes for that.
For subtask collecting and combining we can merge 'igi files. 'Igi' are the similar to Lux's 'flm', they can allow to start rendering from given moment and can be combined into one higher quality image.
Task verification - same as planned for Lux (some image similiarity measures on previews and chekcing if igi files can be merged.
