When Freelancing, legal is very important. You probably won't have time to do a full legal agreement or have the funds to hire a lawyer so here are some things to do:

1. Make sure you have a service contract in place before you start any work. You can find free contracts online. I prefer lawdepot.com
2. Include a clause that client off-boarding must be done or they may lose their info.
