The End

• Via the Obtainable End mod, End Portal Frame blocks are craftable in survival mode. The player will need twelve frame blocks.
• Select a location for the end portal. Be careful; the frame pieces only give end stone when broken and must be re-crafted...
• After selecting a location, the player must place the blocks so they form a level 5x5 square, missing its corners.
• The portal pieces will automatically form a correct portal frame, and the player will hear a bell announcing a new frame is complete.
• As usual, the next step is to insert twelve Ender Eyes in the frame.
• The end portal will form, and the player has gained access to The End.

End portals can also be removed:

• Using a good pickaxe, break the portal frame pieces. It will take a similar time to Obsidian.
• The player will receive a block of End Stone for each frame piece, as well as any inserted ender eyes.
• The End Portal itself will shatter when the first frame piece is broken.
