Fishing

Particularly in the early game, fishing offers access to a number of resources which cannot be acquired another way. For this reason, Water and a Fishing Rod can be acquired, it is recommended the player construct a fishing hole (at least five blocks by five blocks and two blocks deep, with a view of sky over the center) and devote at least some time to fishing.

Fishy Details

• The modpack includes the AutoFish mod, which can automatically reel in and then re-cast when the player has something on their line. This makes AFK fishing fairly easy and we encourage doing so.
• Sky's the Limit adds to the vanilla fishing loot so more ocean-related things can be acquired. See the list below.
• The best possible fishing rod will have Mending, Unbreaking III, Luck of the Sea III, and Lure III Enchantments. As better rods are fished up, the player can use a wooden Anvil to combine rods.
