Installation Instructions

Using AnkiWeb

Please follow the installation instructions listed under Download on AnkiWeb.

Manual Installation

  • Grab the latest release of the add-on from Releases
  • Extract the zip file
  • Launch Anki and open the add-on directory by going to Tools → Add-ons → Open add-on directory
  • If an earlier version of Image Occlusion Enhanced is installed you will have to remove it first by finding and deleting the image_occlusion_enhanced folder and Image Occlusion Enhanced.py file (depending on what version you're upgrading from you might see an 'image_occlusion_2' folder and 'Image Occlusion 2.py' file instead)
  • Having done that, proceed to copy image_occlusion_enhanced and Image Occlusion Enhanced.py from the extracted zip file into your add-on directory
  • Restart Anki
  • Image Occlusion Enhanced should now be installed

Updating the Add-on

Just repeat either of the installation instructions above to update to the latest release of the add-on. New releases will always be posted here on GitHub first and later uploaded to AnkiWeb.
