NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP)

Department of Defense National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship Program (DoD NDSEG)

• Broad research area disciplines, applications every year should be aligned to the current DoD services Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs)
• Three years of funding at higher stipend level than GRFP
• U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and U.S. dual citizens

Hertz Fellowship Program

• Five years of funding at an even higher stipend level and can be combined with other fellowships
• Open to college seniors, first-year graduate students, or those in a gap period preparing to apply to graduate school
• US citizens or permanent residents
