Raw rat is a dropped item. It is dropped by brown rats.

Raw rat can be cooked in a furnace to make cooked rat.

Raw rats are primarily used as animal food, but can be eaten by the player for 1 hunger point (1/2 shank) and 0.2 saturation. Cooked rats give 2 hunger points (1 shank) and 0.9 saturation.

Raw rat can be eaten by omnivore, scavenger and small carnivore animals.
