The Pygmy Hippopotamus is a small, rainforest-dwelling hippopotamus native to Africa. Untamed hippos will not attack players until provoked. Wild pygmy hippos may be attacked by African lions.

Pygmy hippos are tamed with Pachyderm Kibble and bred with Pachyderm Vials.

Pygmy hippos are considered to have a x activity level.

Spawning

Without additional mods installed, pygmy hippos will spawn in jungle and swampland biomes, including hills and mutated variants. Pygmy hippos spawn in small herds of 3-5.

With other biome mods installed, pygmy hippos will, by default, spawn in similar jungle and swamp biomes.

Care

Tamed pygmy hippos can use the Brush, Salt Lick, Ball, Tire Swing, Scratching Post and Enrichment Ball enrichments.

Pygmy hippos eat a Herbivore-type diet.
