Platypuses are small, semi-aquatic marsupials. They are native to wet forests in Eastern Australia. Like echidnas, they are monotromes, which means they lay eggs.

Platypuses are tamed with Frog Kibble and bred with Frog Vials.

Spawning

Without additional mods installed, platypuses will spawn in forest, taiga, and jungle biomes, including hills and mutated variants. Platypuses will spawn in a group of at least 2 and at most 3.

With other biome mods installed, platypuses will, by default, spawn in similar forested biomes.

Care

Tamed platypuses can use the Salt Lick, Brush, Ball and Tire Swing enrichments.

Platypuses eat a Shellfish-type diet.
