Easter eggs are special, optional textures for certain animals. Animals cannot spawn naturally with their easter egg textures.

To get an easter egg texture for an animal, use a Name Tag with the right name. Naming a spawn egg currently does not work. You need to copy the name exactly, including capitals, for the easter egg to work.

Easter eggs are not listed on pages in case players want to find them by trial and error, but they are all listed below.

All animals

Naming any animal Soggy will keep its regular texture, but cause it to cycle through a rainbow of colors. This is a reference to SoggyMustache, ZAWA's coder.

African lion

Naming a lion (of either sex) Simba will generate an Easter egg. There is also a baby texture. This is in reference to the Disney movie The Lion King.

Brown rat

Naming a rat Remy will give it blue fur and a chef's hat. This is a reference to the movie Ratatouille.

Platypus

Naming a platypus Perry will give it blue fur and a hat. This is in reference to the cartoon Phineas and Ferb.

Red panda

Naming a red panda MasterShifu will give it a Chinese-style cloak and a special fur color. This is a reference to the movie Kung Fu Panda.

Three-toed sloth

Naming a sloth Flash will give it khaki pants and a green shirt. This is a reference to the movie Zootopia.

Toucan

In versions 2.1 and after, naming a toucan Keaka will turn it into a lutino keel-billed toucan. This is a reference to Keaka, who is a ZAWA mod supporter.

Western lowland gorilla

Naming a gorilla Winston will give it armor and a cannon. This is a reference to the video game Overwatch.
