Insectivore is a specialist carnivore diet type.

Insectivore animals are carnivores, but only eat insects, arthropods and other invertebrates.

Without additional mods, insectivore animals can eat worms, sugar and spider eyes. Because of their limited feeding options in vanilla minecraft and ZAWA, players who wish to keep insectivore animals will benefit from using other mods such as Harvestcraft or Edible Bugs.

The current insectivores in-game are:

• Indian pangolin
• Long-beaked echidna
• Meerkat
• Tree frog
