The Gaur is one of the largest wild bovids in the world, and it is native to Southern and Southeastern Asia. Wild gaur are famously aggressive towards players, and many starting zookeepers have "fond" memories of being chased or killed by an angry gaur. Wild gaur may be killed by Bengal tigers.

Gaur are tamed with Ungulate Kibble and bred with Ungulate Vials.

Spawning

Without additional mods installed, gaur will spawn in most temperate biomes, including hills and mutated variants. Gaur spawn in herds of 2-5.

With other biome mods installed, black rhinos will, by default, spawn in similar biomes.

Care

Tamed gaur can use the Brush, Salt Lick, Ball, Tire Swing, Scratching Post and Enrichment Ball enrichments.

Gaur eat a Grazer-type diet.
