Aggression - gkazan/ZAWA GitHub Wiki

Aggression is an animal mechanic in ZAWA. Aggression defines a wild animal's behavior towards players. It is not immediately visible in the data book.

As of version 2.1, there are five aggression levels.

Skittish animals will flee from the player if they get too close to them. They will not attack the player if hit.

Neutral animals will not flee from the player, but will not retaliate if they are attacked.

Provoked animals will not flee from the player, but they will attack the player if hit first.

Protective animals will attack players that get too close to them. By sprinting, players can escape most protective animals and will no longer be targetted. They need to be tranquilized to be captured.

Aggressive animals will seek out and actively attack the player. Most of these animals are large predators or reactive herd animals, and can be extremely dangerous to unprepared players. They need to be tranquilized to be captured.
