Survey Groups
A survey group is a set of surveys that you want TurkGate to control access to. Once a worker has accessed one of the surveys, TurkGate will block them from accessing any other surveys in the same group. If necessary, the TurkGate administrator can enable a worker to access the survey group by removing their previous access entry from the database.
Each group has a name, which can be any reasonable length string of alphanumeric characters and spaces (but not tabs or other whitespaces). There are a couple things to consider when choosing a name for your group of surveys. First, workers will see the group name. Therefore, avoid using a name that reveals hypotheses you are testing or other information you don't want your survey participants to know. Second, it is important to avoid accidentally sharing a group name with another researcher. If your TurkGate installation serves a large number of researchers, we recommend coordinating a naming convention to avoid this.
