The Topic

Graphical Network Simulator (GNS3) is a network software emulator that allows you to combine virtual and physical systems or devices that help to create, test, or troubleshooting. By using the GUI interface, GNS3 allows you to create a lab scenario with the hand-on experience.

Overview

I think GNS3 is a helpful tool that can help create a network scenario before you start to build a network system, therefore you can reduce the risk of issues during the configuration. It is a useful and good way to build your knowledge and practice your skill in terms of computer networks. This is open-source software which means it free, it also compatible with Windows OS, MAC, and Linux. When I do research about GNS3, it makes me recall to Packet Tracer, however, GNS3 has played a different role when it goes deeper into a physical network system.

Topic Description

I will start with the GNS3 configuration on Windows OS. Then might pick an interesting course at Champlain College and start building the labs that can be test or access.
