Network simulation tools are a necessary part of learning network fundamentals. They allow you the ability to construct virtual representations of expensive and complex networks and interact with these virtual devices in order to prepare for real-world usage or in pursuit of certifications. This capstone will examine one of these tools called GNS3 and how it can be used in the classroom instead of proprietary and limited tools such as CISCO's Packet Tracer.
GNS3 - a graphical network simulator tool, it allows you to simulate a network system, therefore, you will be able to design, test, troubleshoot, and exploit the virtual network by using Cisco images and other vendors for the purpose of practice for the exam like CCNA, CCNP. This capstone will use GNS3 with its available templates and some specific images downloaded from Cisco to create a list of labs that others are able to access for practice. GNS3 can be used parallel with Packet Tracer, in case if one of them breaks down, we have an alternative tool.
