About GeoTools

• GeoTools is run by the Project Management Committee (PMC) (a group of volunteers who have made significant contributions to the project.)
• GeoTools is managed through an open development process, with public collaboration on new ideas. We welcome new contributions.
• In 2006, the GeoTools PMC decided to join the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo), graduating in 2007.
