To improve the social features in GeoNetwork, we need to extend the user profile in order to be able to suggest data of interest, notify or message the user on important updates and save favourite queries, for example. The idea is to offer a personal dashboard and customize the user experience to what GeoNetwork thinks the user may want to see and/or do.
