Create Hub VCN & Spoke VCN

I already have a Hub VCN named `hub_vcn-manual so I only need to create a Spoke VCN

• Create a VCN manually named spoke_vcn-manual in the network compartment

Create Subnets

• I already have a Public Subnet inside hub_vcn-manual but it also have a Private Subnet which I need to Terminate. But when I try it throws and error saying there is an instance associated to this subnet which we need to terminate first.

• Terminate amazon_server

• Try terminating Private Subnet after the instance terminated successfully

• Now create Private Subnet inside spoke_vcn-manual

Create Dynamic Routing Gateway (DRG)

Create VCN Attachments

• Create attachment between HUB VCN and DRG

• Create attachment between SPOKE VCN and DRG

Create & Attach Security Lists

• Delete Securiry List for Private Subnet of hub_vcn-manual and update Security List for Public Subnet of hub_vcn-manual

• Create and Add Custom Security List to Private Subnet of spoke_vcn-manual and then remove the Default Security List

Create Route Table, add Route Rules, and attach Route Table

• Add Route Rule for DRG to Public Subnet of hub_vcn-manual

• Create Route Table, Add Route Rules for DRG to Private Subnet of spoke_vcn-manual and attach it to the subnet

Create Instance

I already have an instance bastion_server in my Public Subnet of hub_vcn-manual, so I only need to create an instance amazon_server in my Private Subnet of spoke_vcn-manual.

• Provision amazon_server

Test Connectivity

• ping test of bastion_server from local computer

• telnet test of bastion_server from local computer

• SSH Remote Log In test of bastion_server from local computer

• ping test of amazon_server from bastion_server

• telnet test of amazon_server from bastion_server

• SSH Remote Log In test of amazon_server from bastion_server
