Pilgrims of Og

Suttungr and his brother Gilling were drunkards who roamed the world in search of merriment and pleasure. One day, after a particularly heavy night of drinking, Suttungr and Gilling stumbled into a dwarven encampment. The dwarves, scared for their lives, killed Gilling and chased off Suttungr. Suttungr returned and chased the dwarves until he trapped them on a rock that would be submerged by the tide. The dwarves pleaded for their lives and were spared. As a reward for his benevolence, they gave him the fabled Mead of Poetry, which he quaffed in celebration of his brothers life.

Inspiration and ideas flowed through him, for now he could answer any question and recite any information. With his newfound knowledge he realized how to become a god, found the path to the valley of the gods and joined them. Many of the gods are not happy with Suttungr becoming a god, saying through pure luck did he become a god.
