Pilgrims of Og

Kroni was an evil man, who made his way to power through murder, deceit, trickery, torture, and every form of evil one could think of. Kroni ruled a small city state with manevelance, enslaving his enemies and empowering the wicked. He became obsessed with transcending, believing he belonged amongst the gods.

Iovan came to his kingdom to perform his final feat of strength by defeating a red dragon who lived in the nearby caves so he could collect the final trophy and prove to the gods he belonged. Kroni snuck into the dragon's cave behind Iovan and waited until the dragon was defeated, then knocked out Iovan and stole all eight of his trophies and the dragons ninth. He then tied up Iovan and made him watch as he performed the ceremony that turned him into an immortal god.

While Og was greatly displeased with how Kroni found his way to godhood, he nevertheless had no choice but to make him a god.
