Support for Cropped Card Art was possible in MTG Studio but eventually dropped from the feature set.

The rationale:

• Way too many different card frames to be supported
• Complex text resizing of card name, rules, flavor
• Different separators between rules and flavor text being used
• Sword and Shield icons for P/T in Portal
• 20+ different flavors of displaying the Collector No, Artist, Copyright information.
• 20+ different layouts to be supported such as split, hybrid, flip, schema, token, etc.
• and above all - lack of consistent high quality source of the cropped art.
