Authentication keys are RSA keys which are used to verify the image/partition, to make sure only DJI can generate valid upgrades and firmware. Below is an overview of the different authentication keys:

  • PRAK (Used to verify images/partitions)
  • RRAK (DEV, similar to PRAK)
  • GFAK (Geofence Authentication Key)
  • SAAK (see Encryption Keys)
  • DAAK (see Encryption Keys)

Note that the SAAK and DAAK are described in the Encryption Keys section because of the key derivation, but are used as Authentication keys
