Since we are directly controlling stuff here - an e-stop is necessary. OSCC includes a STL file which I used to 3d-print a nice housing for the e-stop and power switches that fits nicely into the cup holder on the kia soul.

Just wire these switches in series with the power supply to the OSCC boards:
