Designed as a heavy lift launch system following cancellation of N-1, Energia used four Zenit strap-on liquid rocket boosters on a core stage powered by four RD-0120, fuelled by LH2/LOX. Its first payload was a Polyus prototype orbital weapons platform, which reused the "Zarya" Functional Cargo Block derived from TKS spacecraft as an engine section (and would later form the first module of ISS).
Energia was also used to lift the first and only Buran space shuttle into orbit before it was retired. Other concepts include the Energia-M, which was designed to replace Proton but lost out to competition from the Angara rocket. Energia II (Uragan) was a proposal for a fully recoverable heavy lifter which could re-enter and glide to landing. Vulkan-Hercules was a massive beast with eight Zenit boosters around an Energia-M core.

Basic Build Guide
- Polyus is mounted upside down with a fairing covering the functional cargo block
- If the Polyus won't radially attach to the body of Energia, nudge a small structural girder into the side to use as an anchor point.
