Vampire crabs wander randomly and sometimes enter the water. They will not drown nor attempt to swim up when in water. They will flee from the player when in survival mode.

Vampire crabs spawn in beach biomes on sand blocks in groups of 2-5.

Breeding

Despite their name, they don't drink blood. Instead, vampire crabs can be bred with dead bushes.

Vampire crabs drop 1-2 (crab pincers).
