A Fairywren is a passive mob found in forest biomes.

Behavior

Movement

Fairywrens fly randomly and prefer to fly towards tree tops. They will swim when in contact with water. Being diurnal, they sleep at night.

Breeding

Fairywrens can be bred using wheat seeds, melon seeds or beetroot seeds. Males and females are sexually dimorphic, with females usually being a dull brown in color. Females lay 1-4 eggs by default, and each egg has a 40% chance of hatching. Once hatched, baby fairywrens will follow their parents until they grow up.

Spawning

Fairywrens spawn in forests in groups of 3-6. Their default spawn weight is 30.
