Note: This list doesn't list any regular building blocks, nor does it list all items. It simply just lists the most useful ones according to me.

Corrupted pearl

A corrupted pearl is a special type of ender pearl that can be obtained by trading with shroomies. When thrown it won't teleport the player to where it lands, instead it'll teleport the mob that's closest to the player (if it's inside a 10 block area around the player) to the landing spot. This item can be super useful for mob transportation (like getting villagers in the right place when constructing an iron farm).

Shroombomb

A shroombomb is a throwable explosive crafted with 4 gunpowder and 1 glimmershroom (gives 4 shroombombs). This will be extremely useful for both mining and combat!

Luminite stuff

Luminite can be used to make luminite lanterns, luminite torches, luminite blocks and even throwable luminite torches. They all emit a light level of 15, and throwable luminite torches can (of course) be thrown. This will be really useful to be able to check out a location without going there ore for lighting up huge areas. When you're in the caverns it'll be a much safer alternative to just placing down torches.

Key to the caverns

Explained in getting to the dark caverns, it can be found inside of the forgotten tower and it can be used on a piece of cracked bedrock to create a gateway to the caverns.

Cracked bedrock

A piece of bedrock with cracks all over it. Can be found on the bedrock layer in the overworld and is not too rare, but not super common either. You should be able to find one in 1-3 minutes of mining though.

Gateway to the caverns & gateway to the overworld

These are basically the teleporters to get between the dimensions. If you jump onto the gateway to the caverns you'll get teleported to the dark caverns and if you jump into the gateway to the overworld you'll get teleported to the overworld (you'll land on the gateway to the caverns, and you'll receive a teleportation cooldown so that you don't instantly teleport back before you have the chance to move out of the way)

Glimmershroom block

A bouncy block, just like slime blocks, but without the sticking ability. It generates in glimmershroom forests as the cap of huge glimmershrooms and also shroomie houses.
