##Type Definition Tzdata (aka Zoneinfo or IANA) time zones are those time zones defined in the IANA Time Zone Database.

Tzdata time zones that are explicitly linked in the IANA database files are considered to be the same topic in Freebase.

Things that are NOT Tzdata Time Zones

• Time Zones defined by statute (e.g. Eastern Time Zone, Central European Time Zone)

• Use /time/time_zone.

• UTC offsets (e.g. UTC-5)

• No type exists for these

• Daylight/Summer or Standard/Winter times (e.g. British Summer Time)

• No type exists for these
