Identity Criterion for Football Player type


Features for establishing identity relationships

  • name_match: There is a name_match if the names or aliases of football players match on both the sources. The match may also be approximate due to the topics having player nicknames, missing/extra middle names, prefix/suffix (such as Jr., Sr.), initials, or names in different languages.

  • matches_played: There is a matches_played_match if at least one of the matches played by the player listed in Freebase property /soccer/football_player/matches_played (Matches played) match on both the sources.

  • transfers_match: There is a transfers_match if at least one of the player’s selling or purchasing teams listed in Freebase property /soccer/football_player/transfers (Transfers) matches with the selling or purchasing teams on the other source.

  • loans_match: There is a loans_match if at least one of the player’s lending or borrowing teams listed in Freebase property /soccer/football_player/loans (Loans) matches with the lending or borrowing team on the other source.

  • goals_scored_match: There is a goals_scored_match if at least one of the goals scored by the player listed in Freebase property /soccer/football_player/goals_scored (Goals scored) matches with the goals on the other source.

  • disciplinary_action_match: There is a disciplinary_action_match if at least one of the disciplinary actions taken against the player listed in Freebase property /soccer/football_player/disciplinary_action (Disciplinary action) matches with the disciplinary action on the other source.
